TME is excited to announce our new co-editor: Aida Alibek! Aida earned her BS and MS in Mathematics in her home country of Kazakhstan. She began a Mathematics PhD program in model theory at the University of Illinois Chicago, where she found her passion for improving undergraduate math education through teaching, training TAs, and learning about research on teaching. She is now an aspiring mathematics education researcher and doctoral student at UGA where she is learning social science research methods after being a mathematician for 10 years.
