Welcome Anna Bloodworth!
TME is excited to announce our new co-editor: Anna Bloodworth! Anna earned her B.S.Ed. and M.Ed. in Mathematics Education at the University of Georgia and taught secondary mathematics for 6 years. After working hard to use research-based practices in her teaching, she became interested in researching how teachers can support student thinking and sense-making in mathematics and statistics. She is now an aspiring mathematics education researcher and doctoral student at UGA where she is studying prospective and early-career mathematics teacher identity.
As we welcome Anna, we also want to thank outgoing editor Aida Alibek for her service to The Mathematics Educator! Her work and dedication to the journal will not soon be forgotten, and we hope that her future endeavors are as successful as her tenure at TME.
