The Academy of Financial Services (AFS) invites you to submit a paper for the 2024 AFS Annual Conference, which will be held September 18th through the 20th in Columbus, Ohio, on the topic of the Pedagogy of Financial Planning. Dual submissions will be considered for the conference presentation & an upcoming special issue of Financial Services Review.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
- The Development and Use of Case Studies
- Teaching Activities and Gamification
- Conceptual and Pedagogical Models
- Experiential Learning Opportunities in Financial Planning Programs
- Ethical and Responsible Usage of AI and Other Tools in Teaching and Learning
- Using AI and Tech Tools to Teach Financial Planning
- Curriculum Development in Financial Planning Education
- Pedagogical Approaches for Teaching Specific Financial Planning Topics (e.g., retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning)
- Cross-disciplinary Perspectives on Teaching Financial Planning (e.g., psychology, economics, behavioral finance)
- Addressing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Financial Planning Education
