Amanda Jansen is a professor in the School of Education at the University of Delaware. She also has a joint appointment in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at her university. Amanda is a mathematics educator who conducts research on students’ engagement in mathematics classrooms, and she is most recently invested in understanding how mathematics teachers can create engaging learning environments.
